TheraTrike™ specializes in designing and manufacturing therapeutic tricycles and accessories for children with disabilities. Our mission is to create opportunities for independence by providing therapeutic tricycles to children with cerebral palsy and similar disorders. Our products provide benefits for riders with minimal to profound disabilities. The unique, patented pedaling motion on TheraTrike tricycles utilizes the hip extensor muscles (the buttock muscles used in walking) to strengthen and develop gait in children with cerebral palsy and similar disorders. Use of the tricycle has proven to enhance gait and improve self-esteem. Children enjoy the freedom and ability to participate in everyday neighborhood activities, while parents enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the tricycle for their children.
