ASAI is a team of 20 enthusiastic students at IIT Madras, supported by esteemed professors and successful associations. We participate in the world's biggest prosthesis challenge, called Cybathlon, organised by ETH Zurich. At Cybathlon, teams hailing from universities and companies all over the world race against each other to complete an obstacle course designed to mimic everyday activities –thereby verifying the integrity of our innovations. Starting with the LEG Division at Cybathlon 2024, the team is proud to present the ASAI Leg, made in collaboration with NCAHT-IITM and R2D2, our prosthetic simplifies tasks such as walking, climbing, squatting and balancing. Through our endeavours, we aim to inspire the average Indian user to embrace advanced prosthetics with trust and confidence, demonstrating the practical impact and reliability of cutting-edge solutions in everyday life.
