SmartMedics uses screen printing technology, to print large scale, medical grade, electrode patches for ECG, PSG and EMG applications in diagnostics, monitoring and rehabilitation. The patches are wireless, radiolucent, and are placed in under 15 seconds. SmartMedics is in development of a coin sized 18-lead ECG device, with ongoing algorithm development for early STEMI detection. The patches can be worn for up to 48 hours, at home, or in hospital. The user may be active, shower and wear them to bed, thanks to a comfortable 100 micron thin material, that acts as a second layer of skin. All ECG electrode patches are CE Marked, and FDA approved.
