Super-elastic (or pseudo-elastic) sizing device is an interventional medical device for mapping, assessing dimensions of cardiovascular structure and perforations, as well as, any anatomically similar internal body cavities that can be reached with catheters. SPECIFICATIONS • Balloon's super-elastic and shape memory abilities allow for exact diagnostic sizing. • Can be used together with any imaging device, or can be used alone for the intended purpose. • Super-elastic texture of the device easily conforms to any cavity and prevents any modification to the anatomy. • 8 markers on the nitinol balloon's braiding surface and 3 other markers on the core metal shaft catheter precisely delineate defect or cavity margins. • Thanks to its state-of-art design, each size can be used to evaluate a substantially wide range of cavities.
