Our journey began with the birth of our third child, Lara. Within the first weeks, we were back in hospital after she experienced her first seizures when she was only ten days old.

Naturally, this was a scary and daunting time for our entire family and like all parents going through any similar situation, we were constantly worried sick about what might happen to our precious daughter during the night.

We searched the web for monitoring options suitable for our situation and found the distinct lack of choices available in Australia concerning. Like many before us, we had tried baby monitors and security cameras to ensure we were always watching her. And whilst these items worked reasonable well, they still meant we got very little, if any, sleep with the need to constantly monitor her welfare.

As a result of this concern, Seizure Alert Australia was born. We’re personally driven to source the best available and newly developed seizure monitoring products and devices from around the world.

Our aim is to make these products easily accessible to Australian and New Zealand families so they, like us, can enjoy the peace of mind that a quality device is watching over your loved one and everyone enjoys a restful and safe sleep.
