SCANAMED is a regional medical device company based in Sebring Florida. Our primary customer is the office-based physician, clinics, and small hospitals. SCANAMED was founded in 1996 as Orbit Medical Sales –a wholly-owned US veteran company. The owner-Larry Brewton, is a decorated Viet-Nam combat veteran with extensive sales and service experience. The company was re-named in 2013 to reflect the products we sell, and to avoid any confusion with other less service-oriented companies with a similar name. Mr. Brewton has been a high performing sales representative / sales manager for fortune 500 companies such as Pitney Bowes, Bristol Myers, Harris-Lanier, and Oral-B Labs. Our commitment is to provide stellar service before, during, and after the sale. SCANAMED is focused on marketing unique state-of-the-art medical devices, and services designed to improve the physician's ability to serve his / her patients while increasing practice profitability.
