Sat-Trac Technologies was started when we realised there was a need for tracking various electronic devices in the medical industry. We are currently engaged with numerous companies to minimise their asset loss, and contribute to the growth of their businesses.

Currently the device market is suffering major setbacks because of their electronic devices and equipment being lost or misplaced, as a result of lack of control due to work pressure or not enough employee resources. This results in Millions of Rands in replacement costs, which puts the growth of the company on the back foot and affects the potential growth of the company. Apart from the replacement costs, we tend to forget the financial loss due to devices/equipment not being active or fully functional in the operational field.

Trials have been conducted to determine the effectiveness/accuracy of the tracking units in numerous countries, with huge success. The tracking units have been put through extensive testing, and software development to maximise its effectiveness. To the extent, that we can track equipment, devices, vehicles, etc. to within 2 meters from the installed unit in other countries.

The portable GPS tracker was designed for the tracking of electronic devices, equipment, vehicles, etc. This unit will allow you to always know where your company assets are. With GSM/GPRS communication, it enables you to have the accurate position and tracking of the object whenever required, 24/7/365 days. It allows for tracking on mobile devices with IOS or Android operating systems, which provide convenient real-time tracking. It also has an added application for search and rescue of the elderly and children. The unit can be used to track to within 2 m from the unit, anywhere in the world.

Tests have been conducted via street mapping as well as satellite imaging and are able to provide live images of the location/address where the unit currently is.
