RETIMAGER Project is a European research initiative dedicated to developing an advanced molecular imaging system that significantly enhances spatial and temporal resolution compared to current Positron Emission Tomography (PET) devices. This project aims to improve the quality and speed of molecular imaging, which is essential for early diagnosis and treatment monitoring in diseases like cancer and cardiovascular conditions. The project is organized into seven work packages over a 42-month period, focusing on technical innovation alongside preclinical and clinical evaluations to establish a proof of concept for the RETIMAGER system. The multidisciplinary consortium includes leading European research institutions and companies, bringing together expertise in molecular imaging, medical research, and technology development. RETIMAGER's system is designed for clinical and preclinical applications, targeting medical and research institutions involved in oncology, cardiology, and precision medicine.
