Research and Development Center of Biomedical Photonics is a structural subdivision of the State Federal-Funded Educational Institution of Higher Education “Orel State University named after I.S. Turgenev” founded within the framework of the strategic project of the flagship university on September 29, 2017. R&D Center of Biomedical Photonics was formed on the basis of the Scientific-educational center “Biomedical Engineering” which was founded on January 28, 2010.The major aim is the growth of scientific school for the development of inspection methods and devices for biomedical photonics, science intensive production commercialization, improvement of the training personnel base, broadening of international cooperation in educational, knowhow and research activity in the field of biomedical photonics.
