About
The Rapid Innovation Unit (RIU) is a research group between the University of Limerick and the University Hospital Limerick Group, supported by Science Foundation Ireland through the Confirm smart manufacturing centre. The aim of RIU is to apply cutting edge 3D printing technologies to address previously unmet clinical needs to enhance patient quality of life, while working closely with all stakeholders within the ULH Group to foster an ‘innovation ecosystem'.
