While working as a Registered Nurse, RAB Medical Products' founder, Richard Babcock, saw that IV and oxygen lines were constantly slipping down under the bed rail when his patients moved or re-positioned themselves. Frequently the lines draped onto the floor, creating a trip hazard for the patient, visitor or staff. Richard set about designing a device to provide an inexpensive, safe and disposable solution to the problem. His patented Line Cradle is the result of several years of design and testing until the perfect combination of flexibility, stability and economy were achieved.
