Prioritage is a system and apparatus that advances current methods of triage by utilizing vital sign monitoring and patient prioritizing algorithms. Initial assessment of patients’ vital signs and treatment order will be determined by a medical professional and recorded within the Prioritage system. Through a Local Area Network (LAN), data will be communicated to an external database such as a computer or cell phone. A list of most critical to least critical patients can be viewed on such external database by medical professionals for constant monitoring over all patients. If significant change is detected in patients’ condition, an alert is sent to external database for the patient to be reassessed by a medical professional. A prioritizing algorithm will organize patients changing condition most rapidly for reassessment priority and listed at the top of the screen on the external database.
