PolyHeal Micro is a unique technology for wound management, a suspension of Negatively Charged Microspheres (NCM) specially aimed to reactivate the healing process. PolyHeal Micro, is a Medical Device Class IIb with CE Mark, manufactured by Praxis Pharmaceutical in Spain, under the ISO 13485 and distributed through partners in different markets. PolyHeal Micro is indicated for the treatment of ulcers of different etiologies and stagnant hard to heal wounds, including exposed bones and tendons, such as: • Venous and arterial leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers; • Drainage, post-traumatic, post-surgical wounds; • And ulcers in co-morbid patients. PolyHeal Micro reactivates the healing process and produces consistent granulation tissue suitable for skin graft (even in wounds with exposed bones and tendons) and closure by epithelization. PolyHeal® Micro is a single use, sterile suspension that is easy to apply by physicians, nurses, patient's family caregivers or the patients themselves, both in an in-patient or out-patient setting. The safe, simple and effective administration of Polyheal Micro solves the challenge of chronic wounds management, reducing the expense in wound care and hospital burdens, and offers patients the possibility of a quicker return to a normal life.
