Ovolution is a startup based on a medical device that is designed to detect early Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome (PCOS). Early detection of PCOS would allow for early preventative management of its symptoms such as infertility, irregular periods, facial hair growth, and an increased risk of type II diabetes, obesity, and endometrial cancer. To prevent the progress of PCOS in women into entering an irreversible stage, it is vital to manage it during early detection via appropriate lifestyle change. As the most prevalent endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive age globally (1 in 10 women of reproductive age worldwide, Office of Woman Health), the potential of lifestyle management intervention at early stage PCOS can change the lives of many women around the world.
