GetMet accurately detects all types of metals, including titanium and rust-resistant metals. It can be used in first aid to remove metal objects from the body, such as bullets, splinters, nails, metal chips and pins. It can also be utilised in more complicated surgery, such as a laparotomy or a thoracotomy. A common use for the GetMet is in the removal of material used in the osteosynthesis of fractures, such as metallic plates, screws, Kirschner pins and Cerclage wires. GetMet has a variety of use cases from combat / catastrophe zones to veterinary use.
