We began more than a decade ago with a focus on developing products that help to facilitate the transition of minimally invasive procedures historically done in hospitals or operating rooms to office-based settings. As part of this mission, we leveraged advancements in light-emitting diode (LED) technology to pioneer the creation of disposable devices with integrated light sources.

Since then, heightened awareness about the risks of cross-contamination from reusable devices & light sources, an industry need to increase efficiencies, and a desire to have direct illumination in the surgical pocket or cavity has made it possible to expand beyond our initial focus to transform other commodity-like devices into indispensable, single-use cordless illuminated tools.
