Neurokeeper Technologies develops a device that can detect the onset and deterioration of a stroke event during sleep. Stroke is the 3rd leading cause of death in the western world. The treatment paradigm is: "the sooner you treat the better", a problem when the event happens during sleep (20% of cases), and in the case of stroke, does not cause pain. Since for the current standard of care for acute Ischemic stroke, IV TPA, the treatment window is up to 3-4.5 hours.
