MiHeart is a multi-platform medical software solution designed to be used exclusively by Adult Congenital Heart Disease patients (ACHD) and specialist clinicians.
In the UK alone there are over 100.000 patients that live their entire life with a congenital heart condition costing a significantly higher proportion of the NHS overall budget (£110 billion PA) than any other patient group. Any savings and care delivery improvements that can be made in this area are strategically vital to the long-term success of future care delivery by the NHS.
The Mi Heart solution consists of several components (Clinical Portal and Smart Phone app) that work in unison to provide a near real-time patient-clinician interface allowing on-going care and patient-specialist communications to be provided outside of the clinical environment.
