Meotec GmbH is a technology company based in Aachen, Germany, founded in 2011 as a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University. With around 40 employees, Meotec operates in a 3000 square meter facility within the TRIWO Technopark Aachen, adhering to DIN EN 13485 certified processes to ensure high-quality medical device standards. The company excels in innovative surface technologies and turnkey process automation for implant materials. Meotec has integrated the entire value chain for producing resorbable implants, including casting, forming, milling, turning, coating, and packaging in cleanroom environments. It also develops functional oxide ceramics for medical devices and provides material testing services for clients in the medical technology, automotive, and aerospace sectors. Meotec is committed to advancing absorbable metal technologies in medical applications through its research and development efforts, focusing on surface coatings, additive manufacturing, and bioabsorbable materials.
