KidzCrowns was started when a privately-owned group of high-production dental offices re-evaluated their supply chain. The group was purchasing over 10,000 pediatric crowns per month when two entrepreneurial members had an idea: to create their own line of high-quality crowns with lower price points. These entrepreneurs created Acero Crowns. Shortly thereafter, KidzCrowns was created to become the premier (and original), distributor. The first Acero crown, the XT, was produced in 2008. After phenomenal success with the XT, KidzCrowns also began distributing the 3S posterior crown line and then the ES White resin-covered stainless steel — the next generation in pediatric crowns.
