The unique part about this bag is it can be used by citizens and first responders. We are calling these citizens, “Immediate Responders”. These are the people on scene when these events happen and are there to start initiating life saving medical interventions before first responders can arrive to help. It can be used by law enforcement and others who are familiar with providing TECC but need a little help due to being in a stressful situation, or forgot exactly how to use a device.
The iACT Responder Bag is an active shooter/mass casualty trauma bag so unique and simple to use, it will soon be in every public venue within the next 5 years. This bag is designed to enable the “Immediate Responder” to render aid shortly after an active shooter/mass casualty event. Life saving interventions can be started 1-3 minutes after the event and 40-60 minutes before first responders arrive to render aid. iACT provides the rescuer with the “BRAVE” acronym, color coded sections and instruction cards to assist the rescuer in providing confident and life saving treatment.
