The Hear 2 Connect Project was founded to tell more than one story.
In the past 25 years, hearing loss technology and services have greatly expanded with vast improvements in hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone conduction hearing solutions. A generation has come of age during this evolution in hearing healthcare.
However, significant gaps persist in outcomes, including access to postsecondary education and employment opportunities. There is fragmented community support and guidance resulting in a gap between what is and what could be.
With the power of collective action, we are focused on building a community through education and empowerment while bridging gaps along the way.
