SELPHYL® is based on the principle that platelets circulating in whole blood, possess all the essential proteins needed for tissue repair and regeneration. Using a standard blood-sample collection procedure, the SELPHYL® kit separates and concentrates a patient's own platelets while removing the undesirable red and white blood cells to create a gold colored ultra-pure liquid PRP.
