The Company is developing a medical device to detect, diagnose and monitor cardiopulmonary diseases in companion and performance animals using a simple biomedical patch. The Company will focus first on the underserved veterinary diagnostic market, which includes over 180M companion animals (dogs and cats) and 10M performance and recreational horses in the U.S.
EquiDx has two primary business goals. The first is to develop a revenue sharing business with the veterinarian that will allow them to profit from testing without capital outlay for the equipment. The second is to develop an analytics business by collecting the medical information generated from testing and repackaging that data for veterinary and human public and private interest.
