EnteraSense is a start-up medical device company that has created PillSense™, the first and only FDA approved capsule for rapid detection of active upper GI bleeding. The idea for the technology was born at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts by Dr. Christopher Thompson and Dr. Marvin Ryou. EnteraSense is located in the MedTech hub of Galway, Ireland where the device was engineered and created.
