The products proved their benefits pre- and in-hospitally for more than 10 years. They can be easily placed directly on the patient’s skin by means of a medical hydrogel and show a vastly superior cooling capacity compared to water and ice. The technology behind the pads (a natural mix with carbon) extracts body heat 15-times more efficient than ice. Patients suffering from cardiac arrest are treated to minimize tissue damage in the brain. Further indications are different diseases, which are associated with high fever.
