CurveBeam was formed in 2009 with the goal of providing cutting edge Cone Beam CT capabilities to orthopedic specialists at a fraction of the price of traditional CT equipment.

CurveBeam’s systems, with their innovative design & compact footprint, bring point of care advanced imaging into the private office.

The pedCAT system received FDA approval in April 2012 and CE Mark approval in January 2013 and is now available for sale in the United States, Canada and Europe. The pedCAT works in conjunction with CubeVue, CurveBeam’s custom visualization software.

The InReach system was approved for sale in the US and Europe in 2017, and the LineUP in 2018.

CurveBeam’s corporate office is located in Warrington, which is just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. CurveBeam is proud that the pedCAT system in made in the U.S.A. and that most of its major components are produced by local manufacturers.

In September 2013, CurveBeam opened CurveBeam Europe LTD’s office in London.

The core team behind CurveBeam pioneered 3D Cone Beam imaging technology for the dental specialties. The introduction of point of care Cone Beam imaging revolutionized the industry and ushered the advent of custom dental implants and improved practices in orthodontics and oral surgery. Today, 3D scans are virtually the standard of care for advanced oral surgery treatment planning, resulting in improved treatment success and case acceptance. In the same way, CurveBeam hopes to contribute to the improvement of the foot and ankle specialty worldwide.
