CPT specializes in the mid-volume production of precision parts for applications in spinal and orthopedic implants / medical instruments, as well as aviation, brake and wheel, landing gear, fire detection, suppression and oxygen systems.

In 2019, CPT completed its second acquisition in its purchase of Renchel Tool, a niche contract manufacturer in Connecticut providing complex orthopedic implants and instruments.
