The idea behind the Patient Cover Device was to create a simply applied disposable cover that will provide an additional barrier to protect our healthcare team while they transport a patient with an infectious disease. With Infection Control in mind, the Patient Cover Device will decrease the spread of contagions throughout the hospital during patient transport.
