FOSTIERIS C & Co L.P. is present in the area of medical care since 1996. Firstly having the discreet title of BIOLAB covered the consumables needs of a microbiology laboratory. Just after that the company moved to the innovative solution for the the first time in Greece, to import reagents for hematology analyzers from the Dutch company of Mallinckrodt Baker (JT Baker) as an alternative reliable and cheaper option for the users rather than the reagents sold by the analyzer's manufacturers. During company's development there were a lot of distribution partnerships with various manufacturers in the area of the medical analyzers. In this aspect SMD manufacturer, which produces electrolytes analyzers using the method of Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE) and also coagulation analyzers was exclusively distributed in Greece. Also, AMS/ASSEL an Italian manufacturer, a producer of biochemistry analyzers, photometers and analyzers of erythrocytes time segmentation started having a serious market share in the greek market through FOSTIERIS C & Co L.P. sales. A basically activity of the company is also sales of second hand hematology analyzers in Greece and all over Europe too. Besides, the company gives the opportunity for interested young doctors of providing them an integrated solution of establishment of a new laboratory, regarding the building's infrastructure and also the equipment required under Presidential Decree No 84 (P.D. 84). DIATRON a Hungarian company, known manufacturer of hematology analyzers, from 18 to 26 parameters to the method for measuring cell LASER was present in Greece. SHINOVA a Chinese company, famous manufacturer of innovative measuring electrolyte analyzers acquired the exclusive presence in Greece through the company of Fostieris K. & Co EU. Finally, Fostieris K. & Co EU with their involvement in quality control programs offers to customers the option of certifying their results.
