Articulate Biosciences is a preclinical stage medical device company, developing a portfolio of products addressing indications in orthopedics and soft tissue repair. The ABX Viscoelastic product family is a series of injectable gels that are biocompatible, cushioning, and lubricating, with an initial target focus in treating osteoarthritis.
Preclinical tests have demonstrated protection of cartilage and absence of adverse events in small and large animal studies. Articulate Biosciences is currently conducting additional preclinical studies in preparation for a first-in-human clinical trial.
