We would like to introduce you to our Q2 Solution, a patented, disposable, hands-free turning and changing as well as an incontinent medical device. We are excited about the Q2 which was designed by a nurse to help reduce nursing injuries as well as prevent pressure ulcers.
As you are probably aware, it is extremely difficult for caregivers to adhere to the “Q2 protocol” of turning patients every two hours to prevent pressure ulcers and change incontinent pads due to time and staff limitations. An informal study showed a time savings of 13 minutes when going from a typical incontinent pad to our Q2 device while turning and changing a patient. Also, with the positioning strap on our product, the patient is stabilized making it much easier for the caregiver to work and reducing strain on the caregiver’s back and muscles.
We believe our product will greatly reduce worker’s injuries, thereby reducing the cost of staff turnover and worker’s comp claims as well as reduce pressure ulcers by allowing for much faster and more efficient perineal and wound care. We believe by addressing staff and patient injuries with our product, litigation exposure will also be reduced, saving time, money, pain and suffering for all.
