Apnex Medical™, Inc. was founded in 2006 with a mission to pioneer medical innovations to improve the health of people with sleep disordered breathing. Apnex is currently developing a proprietary active implantable medical device for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This disorder is associated with significant long-term health problems. Current OSA treatments are not always successful and are often not well tolerated. The Apnex HGNS device is being designed to provide an alternative treatment for OSA that addresses these problems.
