Founded in 1995 and since the introduction of cementless 3-compartmental ankle replacements, ankle arthroplasty has become a viable alternative for ankle fusion in a selected group of patients. Based on experience with other designs the AAA Triple A® design team had set their goal to develop an ankle joint replacement not only for the group of patients with optimal conditions, but also for those in whom other designs were contra-indicated.
